Marryfix Community Guidelines

This document is part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Use. It describes the rules all members must follow to keep Marryfix a safe and respectful environment.
1. Core Principles That Apply to Everyone
- Be real. Use your own, up-to-date photos and accurate information on your profile. Impersonating someone else or creating a fake profile is prohibited.
- Be respectful. Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or demeaning behavior are not accepted in any form.
- Be safe. Be careful before sharing personal information (address, financial information, passwords) over chat; see Safety Tips.
- Follow the law. No content or behavior that promotes, facilitates, or advertises illegal activity is accepted.
2. Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors may result in your account being suspended or permanently closed:
- Harassment, stalking, threats, or blackmail.
- Hate speech, racism, sexism, or bigotry toward any group.
- Sharing sexual, obscene, or violent media.
- Any content involving an individual under the age of 18, or an attempt by a person under 18 to use the platform.
- Creating a fake profile, impersonating another person, or using a bot/automated account.
- Fraud, romance scams, investment/crypto offers, or requests for money/gift cards.
- Unauthorized commercial promotion, spam, or advertising through multiple accounts.
- Sharing another user's image, contact information, or private content without their consent.
- Attempts to circumvent platform security (e.g. bypassing the verification process, using automation tools).
3. Reporting and Blocking
If you encounter inappropriate behavior or content, you can report it to us using the in-app report tool, or block the relevant user. Every report is reviewed by a trained moderation process; you will be informed about the outcome and any action taken. During an active complaint or investigation, the related chat record may be separately retained for the duration required by the review, independent of the normal retention period (see Privacy Policy §9).
4. Enforcement Actions
Depending on the nature of the violation, one or more of the following actions may be applied: a warning, restriction of access to certain features, temporary suspension of the account, or permanent closure of the account (ban). In cases of serious or illegal behavior, we may cooperate with the competent authorities, and retained evidence may be placed under a legal/safety hold.
